Partner Spotlight: Stop #8 – Carriage House Howell
This summer, we’re celebrating the magical partners bringing stories to life in Downtown Howell through our Stories in Storefronts StoryWalk®—and today’s spotlight is on Carriage House, Stop #8 on the route!
Located at 119 N. Michigan Ave, Carriage House is a locally loved gift shop known for its charm, wonder, and one-of-a-kind finds. Inside, you’ll find everything from adorable Jellycats to elegant Polish pottery—a shopping experience that’s as fun for kids as it is for adults.
✨ “A place where magic and wonder thrive, Carriage House is a gift shop that has a million and one unique items for all ages to enjoy! From Jellycats to Polish Pottery, there is something FUN for everyone!” — Sara, Carriage House
As part of the StoryWalk, families can stop at their window to enjoy a page from “Tallulah the Mermaid and the Great Lakes Pledge”, a heartwarming story by Michigan author Denise Brennan-Nelson. Then head inside to discover treasures galore and say hello to the friendly staff who help make Downtown Howell so special.
🧜♀️ Open all summer long, the StoryWalk encourages families to read together, explore the community, and take the Great Lakes Pledge—just like Tallulah and her new friends!
