WELCOME TO THIS EXCITING TIME.

Becoming a new parent can be filled with excitement and challenging all at once. Great Start Livingston recognizes there can be struggles physically, emotionally, financially and more. We are gifting this Welcome Baby bag to connect you with resources which support child development and safe practices.

This bag can be one of your first steps as you navigate this journey as a parent. You will be linked to our resources through our email distribution, which we will not share with anyone else.

You can be a part of this project by using the items found in this bag and providing your feedback. This will help us improve and continue this project. In about 3 months (depending on your delivery date), you will receive a link through your email asking you to complete a short survey. We will ask which items were most useful in addition to your feedback regarding the Welcome Baby bag.

Once you complete this survey, you will receive a gift card and also be entered into a drawing for a larger prize. This may include a gift card and additional child development items such as books and toys.

We welcome you on this journey and thank you for including Great Start Livingston as a resource to support your path as a parent and your child(ren)’s development.

BAG

A regular feeding schedule will keep your baby happy. Use this insulated bag so that your baby’s bottles and snacks are always close at hand.

Use this rattle to help your baby track side-to-side.
Babies can track with their eyes by 2-3 months. Once your baby focuses on the object move it slowly and smoothly from side to side. Soon after they learn to track, they will begin to work on hand-eye coordination. Later in life, visual tracking will be essential in learning how to read.
