Embarking on Your Best Adventure: Join the MDHHS Virtual Baby Fair this June!

Welcoming a new baby into the world is an incredible milestone, but let’s be honest—it can also feel a little overwhelming. Whether you are currently expecting or navigating the beautiful chaos of the newborn days, you probably have a running list of questions about health, safety, and available support.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is hosting a free Virtual Baby Fair this June to give you the confidence, resources, and expert answers you need for your parenting journey.

Here is everything you need to know about this fantastic, completely virtual event!

What is the Virtual Baby Fair?

The MDHHS Virtual Baby Fair is a dedicated online space designed to connect new and expecting parents with vital public health programs and community resources. It’s an easy, no-pressure opportunity to learn how to be better prepared for your best adventure yet, explore local support systems, and ask direct questions to health and parenting experts.

When is it?

To accommodate busy schedules, MDHHS is offering two different sessions—a morning option and an evening option:

  • Session 1: Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Session 2: Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Participating Programs Ready to Help You

One of the biggest perks of this fair is the massive lineup of MDHHS programs available in one place. Instead of spending hours searching online, you can get direct insights on topics ranging from nutrition and environmental safety to developmental milestones.

Here is a quick look at the programs you can connect with:
