This group is to support ALL families in Livingston County, MI who are taking care of children from the prenatal period through age 8. Our goal is for Livingston County families to live in a community that is strong, stable, inclusive, and supportive. We strive to build our Parent Coalition by encouraging families to share trusted resources, personal experiences, and cultivating deeper social connections.
Join us as we talk about ways to keep kids safe, healthy, & ready to grow. Our work is parent-led and designed to meet Michigan’s Early Childhood Outcomes:
- Children are born healthy
- Children are healthy, thriving, and developmentally on track from birth to third grade.
- Children are developmentally ready to succeed in school at time of school entry.
- Children are prepared to succeed in fourth grade and beyond by reading proficiently by the end of third grade.
