Champion For Children Award Nominations Sought
Great Start Livingston Collaborative and Parent Coalition Members,
LACASA Center’s CAP (Child Abuse Prevention) Council and Great Start Livingston are asking Livingston County residents to consider who is a Champion for Children in our community.
Do you know someone who:
- Shows dedication to supporting children and families in the work they do?
- Is passionate about children and families?
- Makes their community a better place for children?
This person can be a volunteer who mentors children, someone who provides a safe foster care home, or advocates for vulnerable kids. Nominees may be a person whose support for children and families is evident in the work they do or in the way they spend their time. Past recipients have been educators, coaches, public employees, foster parents, child care providers, and community volunteers. We know there are many amazing people out there and we want you to share their amazing work with us.
Please consider completing a nomination form. Just share in a couple paragraphs or more all the ways that your nominee makes this community a better place for children. You are encouraged to have multiple people submit nomination forms or letters or comments for your nominee.
