Michigan Doula Advisory Council: Call for Applications!

The Michigan Doula Advisory Council (DAC) works to inform the advancement of doula services in Michigan as a result of the Medicaid doula reimbursement policy. The DAC includes representation from doulas across the state of Michigan. The diverse Council membership represents, to the extent possible, the various communities and settings in which doula services are provided. 

The first council term will be concluding December 2024. Michigan doulas are encouraged to apply for membership by downloading and completing the application below.

Completed applications must be submitted to MDHHS-MIDoula@michigan.gov

Deadline for submission is September 23, 2024!

For consideration, all sections of the application must be completed. Submission of a resume and/or curriculum vitae (CV) is not required but highly encouraged. Successful applicants will serve a two-year term. Please review the Doula Advisory Council Membership Guidelines for additional information.
