☀️ Arc Livingston’s Summer Lineup: Inclusive Events for Families Across Livingston County
At Great Start Livingston, we’re proud to work alongside many organizations that help families thrive. One of those key partners is Arc Livingston. Arc’s mission centers on advocating for and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and they consistently lead the way in creating welcoming, inclusive community spaces.
This summer, Arc Livingston is offering a fantastic series of events for individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking for inclusive storytimes, dances, or opportunities to connect with resources, their calendar has something for everyone.
Here’s what they have planned for summer 2025:
📅 June Events
June 2 – Stillwater Patio Stroll | 6:00–8:00 PM
A relaxed evening gathering to enjoy the summer air and build community.
June 6–7 – Community Resource Awareness Fair @ Hidden Spring Church
Learn about local programs, services, and supports for individuals and families in Livingston County.
June 29 – Disability Pride Service @ St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Brighton | 9:30 AM
Celebrate Disability Pride Month at a community-led inclusive service.
📖 Storytime Series in July
Arc Livingston is partnering with local libraries to host storytimes for children of all abilities. These sessions aim to create a fun, inclusive environment for young learners:
- July 9 – Cromaine District Library
- July 15 – Pinckney Community Public Library
- July 17 – Brighton District Library | 10:30 AM
⛳ July 25 – Arc Golf Outing @ Chemung Hills

Arc Livingston provides scholarships to help individuals with disabilities access summer camp and recreation opportunities. If you know a family who may benefit, encourage them to explore this option.
