Call For Input: Trauma-Informed Care Case Studies Needed
The Michigan Perinatal Quality Collaborative, Region 9, trauma-informed care workgroup received funding to develop trauma-informed care trainings for perinatal professionals across the State of Michigan. The workgroup is asking for help to inform case studies that will be shared in the training.
The training’s purpose will be to help providers understand what people who have been through traumatic experiences may be experiencing during medical care and birth.
If you have had a time when you experienced trauma-related stress, or really good trauma-informed care, please submit your story.
If you are a provider, please share any situations that you have been a part of that would be good for case studies or clinical simulation of trauma-informed care or to illustrate survivor experiences of care or healing.
