Starting school is an important time in a child’s life and children’s readiness for school is important to us.

Kindergarten registration begins in January – April, depending on your school district.

Registering early allows the teachers, principals, and school districts several opportunities to connect with you and your child before school begins and allows them the opportunity to plan for the upcoming school year.

Brighton Kindergarten Registration

Enrollment Opens February 1st for RESIDENTS. School of Choice is under review with our Board of Education – you can check back at the beginning of March for an update.

Kindergarten Round Up

• February 15, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
  • Hawkins and Spencer Elementary
• February 22, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
  • Hilton and Hornung

Fowlerville Kindergarten Registration

New Student Enrollment is available online by filling out the enrollment form.

More information regarding Round Up will be available at a later date.

Hartland Kindergarten Registration

• Online enrollment for Kindergarten begins February 1, 2022.
• Kindergarten orientation will be held on Saturday, February 5 from 10-11:30 am. at the HESSC, 9525 Highland Road (former high school on M-59).
  • Parents will have an opportunity to hear from kindergarten teachers and principals about a “typical” school day and the curriculum. 
  • Central office administrators, transportation and student nutrition personnel, and the school nurse will be on hand.  
  • Parents are welcome to bring their child(ren).

Howell Kindergarten Registration

Begindergarten and Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-23 school year is now open. This year, all Begindergarten and Kindergarten registrations will be done online at HowellSchools.com/kdg.

On Wednesday, March 9, each elementary school will host a virtual meet and greet for parents. Information on the meet and greet will be shared at a later date. In June, each elementary school will host tours for new Begindergarten and Kindergarten students and their families. This will be a time for students to see the school and meet their principal.
