Little Explorers’ S.T.E.A.M. Night

Great Start Livingston is excited to bring families together this fall for another Little Explorers’ S.T.E.A.M. Night.

This family-friendly event will feature hands-on activities inspired by science, technology, engineering, art, and math—all designed with young children in mind.

Families can move from activity to activity, explore together, try something new, and enjoy learning through play.

What to Expect

The event will be similar to our previous Little Explorers’ S.T.E.A.M. activities, with a variety of hands-on stations created by Great Start Livingston and community partners.

Families can expect opportunities to build, create, investigate, problem-solve, experiment, and explore together.

A pizza dinner is also planned for participating families.

Why S.T.E.A.M. for Young Children?

Young children are natural scientists, engineers, artists, and problem-solvers.

When children stack blocks, mix colors, ask questions, test ideas, sort objects, build structures, or figure out how something works, they are already using S.T.E.A.M. skills.

Hands-on experiences like these support curiosity, creativity, persistence, language, problem-solving, and early learning—all while giving families a chance to learn and have fun together.
