Marijuana in 2022: Data, Impacts and Public Health Considerations, October 18, 2022 FREE Webinar
The Livingston County Community Alliance, Howell Public Schools, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, and the National Marijuana Initiative (NMI) are pleased to announce that both Ed Shemelya and Dale Quigley will be joining us to discuss marijuana legalization, its impacts and issues of public health concerns. Specifically, how we can use historical data from states, like Colorado, that have legalized marijuana to anticipate potential impacts in our communities, our families and children.
This free virtual 2.5 hours educational session is limited to 90 registrations. Certificates of training will be issued for those individual attending at least 80 percent of the virtual session.
Mr. Shemelya and Mr. Quigley are from HIDTA’s National Marijuana Initiative. A federally funded education / prevention initiative focused on promoting evidence-based research findings concerning marijuana and its impacts post legalization. Both are excellent speakers with an engaging sense of humor, a byproduct of their 40+ years each in law enforcement. We have no doubt that you will enjoy the presentation and the fact-based information provided might catch you by surprise.
