Michigan Alliance for Families

Michigan Alliance for Families offers information, support, and resources for families of children and youth from birth through age 26 who are receiving (or are eligible to receive) special education services. Our goal is to empower families to become involved in their children’s education. Our staff is trained in listening, communicating, and problem-solving.  We provide information on specific disabilities, mentoring, on-line webinars, as well as group learning opportunities. All of our services are provided at no cost to families or professionals.

We have a COVID-19 specific resource page, https://www.michiganallianceforfamilies.org/covid19/ to help navigate the return to learning this fall.   We also have a series of COVID-19 specific videos:

·   Special Education and Covid-19: First Steps
