Pre-K for All Enrollment Now Open for 2025-26 School Year

The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP), local school leaders, and providers from across the state recently gathered to encourage families to enroll 4-year-olds in our no-cost, high-quality PreK for All program.

We know that PreK for All gives kids the strong foundation they need to thrive in kindergarten while also saving families up to $10,000 a year. When our kids start ahead, they stay ahead. PreK not only benefits 4-year-olds, but it also benefits our economy as families can work or go to school knowing their children are safe and learning.

Here are the facts about Michigan’s PreK for All program:

  • Enrollment in PreK for All is now open for the 2025-26 school year for children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025.
  • PreK for All is open to all families, no matter their income, while prioritizing those who need it most.
  • PreK for All offers four-day, five-day, full-day, and half-day options across the state. Additionally, transportation options are available in some areas.
