What Is the Region 9 Perinatal Quality Collaborative?
The Region 9 Perinatal Quality Collaborative brings together families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to strengthen maternal and infant health across the region.
These partnerships create opportunities to identify barriers, share experiences, and improve how families access care and support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
What Will Be Discussed?
The quarterly meeting will include:
- Updates on maternal and child health efforts
- Information about new Region 9 project groups
- Upcoming events and opportunities to participate
- Ways for families and community partners to get involved
Why Parent and Caregiver Voices Matter
Families are experts in their own experiences.
Parents know what it is like to find prenatal care, navigate healthcare appointments, prepare for a new baby, and seek support after birth. Their experiences can help identify what is working and where families need better connections or additional resources.
For Livingston County families, those conversations may include transportation, access to prenatal and postpartum services, finding trusted information, and connecting with community supports.
You do not need to be a healthcare professional to contribute. Your perspective as a parent or caregiver is valuable.
