Register for Kindergarten or Preschool

Kindergarten

Schools are currently accepting registrations and enrolling children into Kindergarten.  Starting school is an important time in a child’s life and children’s readiness for school is important to us.  If your child will be age 5 by September 1, 2020 – we encourage you to register him/her for Kindergarten as soon as possible.  This will allow the teachers, principals and school districts several opportunities to connect with you and your child before school begins and allow them the opportunity to plan for the upcoming school year.

To register for Kindergarten and/or learn more about your school district, contact your local district:

If you have questions regarding your child’s kindergarten enrollment, please refer to your local school district, your child’s early childhood provider and/or the resources below.

Preschool

Early childhood providers are currently accepting registrations and enrolling children into preschool.  Many providers have programs for 3 year olds and 4 year olds.

Research shows the quality of care a child receives by age five strongly impacts their success in school and in life. A recent study shows that the learning and social-emotional benefits young children gain from attending a high-quality early childhood program lasts at least into their teenage years.
