2026 Annual Parent and Family Survey Results

Each year, we turn to the people who know our community best—parents and caregivers—to better understand what support, resources, and connections matter most for families with young children. Our Annual Parent & Family Survey helps guide the work we do, ensuring we’re responding to real needs in meaningful ways.

This year, more than 200 parents shared their voices, experiences, and concerns. Our team carefully reviewed every response, gathering valuable insight into what families with children ages birth to age 5 are navigating right now. From everyday challenges to bigger-picture needs, your feedback plays a critical role in shaping programs, partnerships, and resources across Livingston County.

Questions were asked from both a parent perspective and a child perspective, giving us a fuller picture of family life today.
